Born and bred in sunny-side Singapore, I start my every day with a cup of kopi and a desire to change someone’s life through my product.
Pardon me if that sounds cliche, but I believe that you can create impact in a variety of ways. Be it in simplifying a work process so someone can leave work earlier, or rewarding small business owners for their years of loyalty, I have been so privileged to have spent the last 8+ years effecting ripples of change through a craft that I love.
From my humble beginnings as a first-hire in a startup, I must say I have come a pretty long way. I have, since those early years, led design projects both locally and internationally, mastered the art of human-AND-business-centered design (no, they are not enemies), and learnt the hard way that you only become a “real” designer when your phone gallery is flooded with photos of quick sketches and user journeys.
I believe that the best things in life don’t come easy, so I am always looking for a challenge. Be it in leading a design team, working my own app, taking my career overseas, or just dancing with two left feet, I am all set for that next adventure.
